Education Mission Statement:

SITE Santa Fe is committed to exhibiting and exploring the dialogues generated by contemporary art. The scope of public programming is diverse, and appeals to the interests of a wide audience. Considering both historic and current perspectives, SITE brings in scholars, curators, and artists from all over the world with specialties ranging from contemporary art to science. (Please visit “Lectures and Events” for more information on our Public Programs.)

The aim of SITE Santa Fe's Education & Public Programs department is to make contemporary art accessible to the widest range of audiences within the community. For each exhibition, outreach programs are designed to correspond with the themes addressed by the works on view. Education programs include public and private tours given by our SITE Guides, the Visual Thinking Strategies program in elementary and middle schools, the Young Curators program for teens, and an internship program.
