ART TREASURES OF CHICAGO
April 15 – 19, 2010

SITE Santa Fe’s Foundation Council invites you to join them on an exciting art excursion to Chicago from April 15 – 19, 2010 for an insider’s look into the best of Chicago’s art treasures.

Guests will stay at the elegant, modern Sofitel Water Tower, perfectly located on the city’s famed Magnificent Mile. Among the many highlights of our trip will be a private tour of the Art Institute’s new wing led by James Rondeau, curator of the museum’s Department of Contemporary Art. Designed by Pritzker Prize–winning architect Renzo Piano, the Modern Wing provides a new home for the museum’s stellar collection of 20th- and 21st-century art.

Our itinerary includes: Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art; Frank Lloyd Wright's home and studio, as well as his architectural masterpiece, the Robie House; and an opportunity to see at least four of the most outstanding private collections in Chicago, including that of Gael Neeson and Stefan Edlis, honored this year by ARTNews as two of the world’s top collectors.

We hope we’ve whetted your appetite, and can count you among our fellow travelers on this fun, in-depth exploration of the Chicago art scene.
