Distinguished curator, writer, and broadcaster Ekow Eshun will discuss some of the many remarkable highlights of his storied career. His 2024 exhibition, The Time is Always Now: Artists Reframe the Black Figure, opened at the National Portrait Gallery in London to rave reviews and went on to tour US museums. As the acclaimed author of The Strangers: Five Extraordinary Black Men and the Worlds That Made Them (2024) and In the Black Fantastic (2022), Eshun is a highly respected leading voice in contemporary art.
