Ice Cream Social in conjunction with Feast: Radical Hospitality in Contemporary Art. Robbins’ Ice Cream Social has taken place all over the globe, from New York to Tokyo, and now it is coming to Santa Fe! The Young Curators have embraced the themes and décor specified by Robbins (ie. pink, brown, and white color scheme), and they have a number of additions of their own inspired by Robbins that will be sure to delight all participants. The Ice Cream Social is free and open to the public; so be sure to join us at SITE Santa Fe on May 10 for this event!
Also, make sure to check out the Ice Cream Social Zine on the Young Curators homepage!
Young Curators is a free, weekly, after-school program that teaches high school students the curatorial side of the art experience, providing alternative ways for teens to connect with art while giving them a glimpse of possibilities within museum careers.
