Santa Fe Institute Omidyar Fellow Chris Kempes will talk about future possibilities for discovering life in the Universe beyond our own planet, ranging from icy moons in the Solar System to observations of planets around distant stars. He will also present planetary requirements for life to begin and evolve. Chef Matt Yohalem from Il Piatto will create food pairings inspired by Future Shock themes and artwork for the audience to sample and enjoy.
