SITE SANTA FE opens Deborah Roberts: Come walk in my shoes with a DJ set by Afrofuture Soundsystem, food by Power 5 BBQ, and drinks by Leaf and Hive!

Come walk in my shoes includes a selection of figurative collages and paintings combining found images with hand-painted details centered on the experiences of Black boyhood in the United States. Activating SITE SANTA FE’s exterior billboards, Roberts expands the conversation on how Black children navigate their Blackness and childhood.

The opening celebration is free, no advanced registration required.

Nikesha Breeze @nikeshabreeze is an award winning international visual artist, performance artist, and community organizer. In their altar ego as a DJ, Nikesha tag teams with International dancer, model and DJ, Chelsee Stewart aka Chelsee DNA @chelseeestewart as, Afrofuture Soundsystem @afrofuturesoundsystem, together they bring you their love for House music, dance culture, joy filled expression, and the rhythms of the African diaspora.
