SITE presents a new work from The Ricochet Project. The Ricochet Project (Cohdi Harrell and Laura Stokes) in collaboration with Finnish composer Walter Sallinen, present the first installment of a new performance series, Said and Done. Using high flying contortions, live sonic installation, lo-fi technology and acrobatic distortions, Said and Done looks at how we inhabit our lives in a technological ecology to simulate and fulfill our human need for the ritual of solitary dissolve.

Weaving delicate metaphor with jaw dropping spectacle, Ricochet’s unique approach to acrobatic performance art has taken the world by storm. Drawing from rigorous backgrounds in classical and contemporary dance, aerial acrobatics, somatic practices and improvisation, Ricochet crafts physicality and energetics to explore the internal politics and landscapes of human ecology. Currently based out of Berlin, the New Mexico born circus of two has been hailed “vital to the growth of contemporary circus in America, ” by Circus Now. They are the first American company to receive the prestigious Total Theatre Award for the best circus at the Edinburgh Festival 2015 and tour internationally most of the time with their current show Smoke and Mirrors.

The Ricochet Project will present two performances on November 3 (SOLD OUT) and November 4 at 6:30pm.
