Serenata in SITE: Riffs and Digressions with Kinan Azmeh & Dinuk Wijeratne

    PAST

    07 FEB 2020

    Performance

    5:30 PM

This season Serenata of Santa Fe initiates a partnership with SITE Santa Fe, in presenting ‘Riffs & Digressions’, four Friday evenings devoted to timely music that reflect themes of Bel Canto, Displacement, Barriers and Migration. These concerts are casual, informative, family friendly and included in our regular Subscription Series. Join us for the final concert in the series with performances by Kinan Azmeh and Dinuk Wijeratne.

This ‘Migration and Complex Stories’ program features original music and stories of displacement and homeland. Uneven skies and stories of homeland define reality as told and performed by Syrian clarinetist, Kinan Azmeh and Sri Lankan pianist, Dinuk Wijeratne. Captivating and beyond borders, this all original music reflects art in the time of crises.
