A movement performance crafted around the premise of patterns, habits, and rituals

Inspired by the concept of tessellation and how a pattern can repeat, transform, and change direction, the New Mexico School for the Arts (NMSA) Dance Department performs original choreography that uses patterns as a form of language and world building.

It takes Sara Genn’s work at SITE SANTA FE as a launching point for costume design and explores how the ever-changing gradient of the sky can be our canvas for freedom, movement, and self-realization.
