Catalogue Launch Celebration: the space in which to place me
UPCOMING
16 AUG 2025, 2–5 PM
Marlene Nathan Meyerson Auditorium at SITE SANTA FE
The exhibition catalogue for the space in which to place me has arrived! Jeffrey Gibson’s site-responsive installation for the U.S. Pavilion at the 60th Venice Biennale recognized Indigenous aesthetics and material histories as effective tools for cultural survival, innovation, and healing from the impacts of historical trauma. The exhibition and its stunning 404-page hardcover publication joyously declares Gibson's radically inclusive vision for a future in which all people are seen, accepted, and loved.
Join us for a book signing with Jeffrey Gibson and exhibition curators Kathleen Ash-Milby and Abigail Winograd, food and drinks, a performance by the COLORADO Inter-Tribal Dancers, and DJ sets by DJ Garronteed and DJ Nokabah.
