SOLD OUT: August Reading
A Modest Manifesto for Museums by Orhan Pamuk
Orhan Pamuk’s Modest Manifesto for Museums accompanies his novel and his museum, both called The Museum of Innocence. He advocates for smaller and more accessible museums that he envisions to be like novels—prioritizing intimate human stories over grand national narratives or historical accounts. After reading and talking about this essay together, participants will explore the relevant works on display at SITE SANTA FE.
