Musical Performance by Jesse Tatum on Disarm Flute, Sabrina Griffith on Disarm Violin, Damon Griffith on Disarm Guitar.

Aubrey Hicks has been in the music world most of her life. Growing up helping her grandpa work on theater pipe organs, to being in over 50 plays and musicals throughout her life. She attended Santa Fe University of Art and Design in 2016 and graduated with a BFA in musical theater from Stephens College in 2019. She is now loving her work in the gallery and is also working on productions in Santa Fe through costuming and preforming.

Aubrey’s tour focuses on the musicality behind Pedro Reyes’ work and the hidden meaning and details behind the music created by the instruments and even in work that has no sound at all. It’s all in what you are listening for.

Damon Griffith is an artist and performer who has lived in Santa fe since 2005. He plays multiple string instruments with local band Cloacas, and with his wife Sabrina in Aunt Kacle and the Coleslaw King He occasionally does bizarre spoken word with Bull Seal, and is the infamous Heavy Breather. Sabrina Griffith is a local artist, puppetmaker and musician . She plays violin, viola and a smidge of cello with her bands Aunt Kackle and the Coleslaw King and Cloacas. She is delighted for the opportunity to play the Disarm violin as an acoustic player and looks forward to the experiment.
