Once Within a Time Student Podcast series is a new addition to SITE SANTA FE’s education opportunities. Responding to the community, SITE SANTA FE designed this internship-based program to increase digital literacy and accessibility, diversify educational opportunities for local youth, empower students with knowledge and skills to safely navigate the online world, and elevate storytelling by its young community members.

Through a partnership with the Santa Fe Community College (SFCC), the New Mexico School for the Arts, and Santa Fe High School, SITE SANTA FE invited high school students to participate in this project-based learning opportunity. Students learned critical thinking, observation skills, audio production, and field recording as they produced audio guides and podcasts centered on the 12th SITE SANTA FE International.

By critically engaging high school students in this landmark international exhibition, SITE SANTA FE continues to uphold its values of enriching the cultural life of New Mexico and its diverse communities.
