Devendra Banhart's DJ set pulls from many cultures of the world, including songs and styles from South and Central America, The Caribbean, and electronic, dance, and soul. His set is a musical exploration of most genres with the main focus of making you move.

Luz Skylarker was raised on a steady diet of Earth Wind and Fire, 2 tone, música romántica and Etta James. When asked about her musical preferences: “my soul sings in 3 genres— rocksteady, cumbia and hardcore— that have helped me find love and appreciation for any music that has depth and ganas.”

Nalgona Superstar is a local music selector from Albuquerque, NM. She has played with local DJs since 2019 at events with Venus in Venmo, Cumbia Echo, La Buena Onda, Barrio Hi-Fi Collective and opening up for bands like Frontera Bugalú and Tropa Magica.

Artist Performances at Wheelwright Museum of the American Indian

Free and open to the public

As one of the 12th SITE SANTA FE International partner venues, the Wheelwright Museum of the American Indian will co-host with SITE SANTA FE a day of artist activities during Opening Weekend of Once Within a Time. The activations will open and end with performances by exhibiting artist Cristina Flores Pescorán, which reflect on dynamic relationships between the body and ancestry, health and illness, restoration, and medication. Both performances will be in Spanish.

In the galleries, exhibiting artists will present mini-gallery talks of their work with the support of Wheelwright Museum of the American Indian and SITE SANTA FE.
